Mason to Honor Area Businesses with Monthly Good Neighbor Business of the Month Award

GURNEE, Ill. – State Rep. Joyce Mason, D-Gurnee, is launching her Good Neighbor Business of the Month program, a community-nominated award aimed at giving recognition to businesses that give back to their community.

“I am so proud of the small business owners and entrepreneurs that have chosen to invest in our communities, and I wanted to find a way to recognize the businesses that are consistently getting it right by being involved in their communities and giving back,” said Mason. “I am really looking forward to visiting the business that is honored each month and hearing about the challenges of owning and operating a small business in our community.”

Mason is currently accepting nominees for her August Good Neighbor Business of the Month award. Nomination forms are available at Mason’s constituent service office at 36100 Brookside Dr. in Gurnee.
