CHICAGO – State Rep. Justin Slaughter, D-Chicago, is inviting residents to join him for a morning of coffee and conversation this Friday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bootsma Bookstore Café, located at 6513 W. 123rd St. in Palos Heights.
“I enjoy talking with my constituents to learn more about their families, their needs and the communities they live in,” said Slaughter. “The best way for me to represent my neighbors in Springfield is to ask them about their concerns and hear from them directly.”
Slaughter is inviting residents to join him at Bootsma Bookstore Café this Friday to enjoy a tasty cup of coffee and discuss state and local issues. Slaughter will also discuss legislation and goals for the upcoming year. The event is free and open to the public.
“It is within these small, intimate settings that I can learn about the issues that matter most to residents,” said Slaughter. “I invite all local residents to attend this meeting to enjoy a cup of coffee and share concerns, ask questions and give feedback.”
