Reitz Invites Local Residents to July Satellite Office Hours

RED BUD, Ill. – To help make the services of his constituent service office more easily accessible to residents of Southern Illinois, State Rep. Nathan Reitz, D-Steeleville, is hosting satellite office hours throughout the region in July.

“As our area’s new state Representative, I want to have conversations with residents throughout Southern Illinois about the issues that matter most to our friends, family and neighbors,” said Reitz. “Hearing the thoughts and concerns of the folks I represent directly from them helps me to be a strong voice for our values in Springfield.”

Reitz is hosting satellite office hours in four communities across Southern Illinois during the month of July:

• July 23 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Waterloo City Hall, located at 100 W. 4th St.
• July 24 from 5 to 6 p.m. – DuQuoin City Hall, located at 302 E. Poplar St.
• July 24 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Pinckneyville City Hall, located at 104 S. Walnut St.
• July 25 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Columbia City Hall, located at 208 S. Rapp Ave.

“Our district covers a lot of miles, stretching as far north as Cahokia, as far south as Rockwood, and as far east as DuQuoin. Residents may have a hard time making it to my district office in Red Bud when they need assistance, so satellite office hours provide a great opportunity for folks to stop by to meet with me and share any ideas or ask questions they may have,” continued Reitz. “My office is able to assist with many state issues a citizen may have such as a state license, access to state services, helping with a concealed carry license or checking the status of a FOID card application. I encourage area residents to stop by my satellite office hours during the month of July.”
