VILLA PARK, Ill. – State Rep. Deb Conroy, D-Villa Park, is inviting residents to join her for a community discussion on state and local issues on Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Funky Java Coffee House, located at 40 S. Villa Ave. in Villa Park.
“Meeting with residents in our community to understand their concerns is very important to me,” said Conroy. “We are at a critical moment in our state’s history, with many possible paths forward as we look to rebuild our state, strengthen our schools and boost our local economies. I take the input I hear firsthand from residents with me to our State Capitol so I can better represent all of our DuPage County families.”
Conroy’s community discussions are free and open to the public, and give residents an opportunity to meet with Conroy in a more personal one-on-one setting. Conroy will provide a brief legislative update and take questions and comments from attendees.
“I encourage all local residents to stop by and join me for a cup of coffee as we discuss ways to work together to improve our community,” Conroy added.
