BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. – State Rep. Diane Pappas, D-Itasca, is hosting a meeting open to all constituents of the 45th District Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to noon. “Pastries with Pappas” will take place at the Roselle Park District, 10 North Building, located at 10 N Roselle Rd. in Roselle.
“I want to have more one-on-one discussions with folks in the district about their specific concerns,” said Pappas. “My goal is to make our district the best it can be, and the first step is to have regular conversation with people throughout the community so that I can best represent
them in Springfield.”
Pappas is serving her first term, and is eager to hear from all the residing members of the district. “Pastries with Pappas” is set to be a monthly event for constituents and their families to have the opportunity to engage in conversations regarding legislative concerns.
“People need to know that their elected officials are supporting an agenda that serves the community, which is why I am inviting my neighbors across the district to meet with me over a pastry,” said Pappas. “If anyone has any questions, concerns or ideas for legislation, I encourage them to attend this event.”
