ZION, Ill. – State Rep. Joyce Mason, D-Gurnee, is inviting residents to join her for a community discussion on state and local issues on Friday, April 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Callie’s Coffee Bar and Café, located at 2723 Sheridan Road in Zion.

“This will be a great opportunity for me to hear directly from people I represent in a comfortable setting,” said Mason. “I want members of our community to know that my door is always open, and that I’m always willing to have a conversation about the issues that matter to them.”

Mason encourages local residents to share their thoughts and concerns about pending legislation over a cup of coffee at Callie’s Coffee Bar and Café between 8:30 and 10 a.m. on Friday, April 5. All are welcome, and RSVPs are not necessary.

“I hope to foster a culture of trust and transparency among the people I represent,” Mason said. “I look forward to hosting future events to solicit feedback and ideas from community members who care about the future of our state.”
