ANDALUSIA, Ill. – State Rep. Mike Halpin, D-Rock Island, will hear from residents and discuss his plans for economic development and other legislation at a town hall meeting at 1 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Andalusia Village Hall, located at 221 1st Street in Andalusia.
“Because the conversations I have with area residents drive my legislative agenda, I want to make sure I’m accessible to people throughout my district,” said Halpin. “I’m looking forward to this opportunity to share an update about legislation I’ve introduced and hear feedback on how we can work together to improve our community.”
Halpin will be available from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Andalusia Village Hall to hear area residents’ concerns about state and local issues. The event is free and open to the public.
“In Springfield my efforts are focused on how we can attract new businesses to our region, make necessary upgrades to our state’s infrastructure and protect working families’ livelihoods,” said Halpin. “I encourage residents to share their concerns and ideas about these topics and anything else on their minds at my upcoming town hall.”
