NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Following the relocation of his constituent services office to Northbrook, state Rep. Jonathan Carroll, D-Northbrook, will be hosting an open house at the new location to meet area residents and discuss local and legislative concerns.

“I believe it is important to be as accessible to the public as possible,” said Carroll. “People need to know what their elected officials are doing, and I want them to know that I am fighting for them and their families each day.”

Carroll will be hosting his first open house at his new district office located at 3153 Dundee Rd. in Northbrook this Saturday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. until noon. Coffee and donuts will be available for anyone who stops by to visit. Residents can catch up on news about legislation pending in Springfield or speak with Carroll about important local issues.

“I always look forward to speaking with residents and meeting new people to hear what they have to say about what I’m doing in Springfield,” said Carroll. “Public safety, efficient government and lower property taxes are all at the top of my list, and I will make sure that my residents’ voices are heard on these issues that affect every family in Illinois.”
