BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. – To welcome community members to her new constituent service office, state Rep. Diane Pappas, D-Itasca, is inviting local residents to an Office Open House on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at her district office located at One Tiffany Pointe, Suite G3 in Bloomingdale. Visitors should use the entrance on the east side of the building.
“The best way for me to represent our community is to be open and accessible to my constituents,” Pappas said. “I always enjoy visiting with our neighbors to hear from them directly about the issues that matter to them most. I want everyone to know that my office is a welcoming space for anyone to contact me or to visit with my staff for assistance.”
Local residents are invited to come meet with Rep. Pappas and learn about the state services available through her office.
Residents can also visit Pappas’ district office during regular office hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and other office hours may be available by appointment, which can be made by calling the office at 224-520-8838. For non-English speakers, Pappas can assist residents in Polish, by appointment, and her district staff is available to assist residents in Spanish, Urdu and Punjabi.
“As a newly elected official, I hope to meet with as many of our neighbors as possible so that I can be a strong voice for them in Springfield,” Pappas said. “I encourage local residents to come visit my constituent service office to learn about the many state services we can provide for the community and to share their ideas on issues impacting our state.”
