SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – During the annual Tech Day at the Capitol, state Rep. Camille Y. Lilly, D-Chicago, toured student-made science projects from Rhodes Elementary and Oak Park-River Forest High School.
“It’s always great to see students engage in STEM-related projects,” said Lilly. “I applaud them for their incredible hard work into creating masterpieces that include how to create apps for our phones and coding projects.”
Lilly toured the projects that were created by students from Rhodes School in River Grove and Oak Park’s Oak Park-River Forest High School. On this day each year, students and schools across the state are invited to showcase their technology projects at Tech Day in Springfield, highlighting the importance of educational technology and the role technology plays in the classroom.
