ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – Working to maximize his availability and increase access to state services, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, invites local residents to a series of events and meetings in March.

“The legislature will recess for a brief period during the spring and I intend to use every day back in my district to connect with the people I represent whether it be going door to door, meeting and visiting with community organizations, or by offering helpful and informative events,” Yingling said.

Yingling will be meeting with residents on Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Wauconda Café located at 405 W. Liberty St. in Wauconda. On Monday, March 12 from 10 a.m. to noon he is hosting Mobile Office Hours at the Wauconda Village Hall located at 101 N. Main St.

“Open coffee shop meetings and mobile office hours give residents the opportunity to stop by and share with me their thoughts on state government or seek help with state related issues,” said Yingling. “These are intended to be casual, convenient ways for people to access their government. Appointments are never necessary and all are welcome to join us for a discussion on the important issues facing our state.”

All of Yingling’s events are free and open to the public. RSVPs are not necessary, but appreciated. For more information, please contact RepSamYingling@gmail.com or call 847-231-6262.
