Ness-Led 6th Annual Diaper Drive: Final Week to Donate

EAST DUNDEE, Ill. – State Rep. Suzanne Ness, D-East Dundee, is encouraging able neighbors and community members to donate baby necessities like diapers and hygiene wipes during the final week of the 6th Annual Diaper Drive, which concludes Friday.  

“We’ve seen such a wonderful influx of donations since the drive’s start last week which will help our young families here in our community get the essentials they need for their children to be safe, clean and healthy,” said Ness. “As a parent, I understand how daunting supermarket bills are these days. Families shouldn’t have to grapple with whether or not a box of diapers will put them over their budget line. Every donation, no matter how small, can truly help make a difference in one of our neighbors’ and their families lives.” 

Ness’ 6th Annual Diaper Drive is accepting donations now through Friday, Oct. 30 to benefit the D300 Food Pantry, Crystal Lake Food Pantry, FISH Food Pantry, Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Food Pantry and the Food for Greater Elgin Food Pantry. Last year, Ness’ drive received 27,725 diapers, 6,480 baby wipe packages and roughly $13,000 to invest in local families and food pantries.

Those interested in donating to Ness’ 6th Annual Diaper Drive can drop off supplies at one of the locations below. Donations will also be accepted online via an Amazon wishlist, here, now through Thursday, Nov. 5.
