CARPENTERSVILLE, Ill. – Encouraging residents from Northwest Illinois communities to share their thoughts on top issues, state Rep. Suzanne Ness, D-Carpentersville, will host a virtual town hall Tuesday to discuss recent state action on the heels of completing the first week of the 2026 spring legislative session.

“As families struggle to make ends meet, discussions turn into needs versus wants. My priority is to make sure we are providing relief in all the ways we can and I look forward to having those discussions at kitchen tables and in Springfield,” said Ness. “This town hall is a great opportunity for local residents to get together online so we can discuss issues ranging from the federal administration, Illinois, and hyperlocal issues that impact our neighborhoods across Kane and McHenry counties.”

The virtual town hall will take place Tuesday, Feb. 3rd at 6 p.m. on Zoom and will be followed by a Q&;A. Registration is required. To register, please use this link or email info@repsnessil66.com.

“I truly pride myself and my team on staying connected with the communities of my district. I’m looking forward to this Zoom meeting to touch on our top needs and values that will continue to guide my work down in Springfield—especially as we get closer to the Governor’s Budget Address in a few short weeks.”
