SPRING VALLEY, Ill. — State Rep. Amy “Murri” Briel, D-Ottawa, is partnering with the Secretary of State to host a mobile DMV on Monday, Dec. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Richard A. Mautino Memorial Library, located at 215 E. Cleveland St. in Spring Valley.
Attendees will be able to update their vehicle registration, renew their license plates or get a REAL ID.
“With the holidays coming up, we want to be sure that people who are traveling have updated documents,” Briel said. “I especially want to emphasize the option of getting a REAL ID at this event. This mobile DMV is a great way to get prepared, whether you’re traveling far or staying at home.”
Those interested in attending must sign up for an appointment in advance at https://tinyurl.com/BrielDMVevent.
Not all drivers’ services will be offered at the mobile DMV, including written and road tests. For services that require attendees to bring documents, a full list of acceptable documents can be viewed at ILSOS.gov.
For questions on available services and additional information, please contact Briel’s office at 815-587-7912 or contact@staterepbriel.com.
