Stuart to Attend Reception for Newly Imagined Madison County Museum and Exhibits

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill – State Rep. Katie Stuart, D-Edwardsville, will be at the Madison County Historical Society Reception, where they will unveil the newly imagined Madison County History Museum and its exhibit designs. The reception will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 715 N. Main St. in Edwardsville.

“The Madison County Historical Society has been faithfully serving the community and providing valuable insight into our past,” Stuart said. “I am so excited to see what’s coming next for them, as they unveil their plans for the future, including new exhibit designs.”

The renovations were made possible by a $700,000 state grant that Stuart and state Rep. Jay Hoffman, D-Belleville, helped obtain.
