Gordon-Booth to Host Mother’s Day Senior Brunch May 3

PEORIA, Ill. – State Rep. Jehan Gordon-Booth, D-Peoria, will celebrate and recognize local moms at her annual Mother’s Day Senior Brunch on Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Childers Banquet Hall, located at 3113 N. Dries Ln. in Peoria.

Public reservations for the brunch are full.

“I’m excited to celebrate these incredible women who do so much for us every single day,” Gordon- Booth said. “We’re expecting a full house and a lot of music, laughter, food, fun and so much more. Every year this brunch is full of meaningful moments, and I’m looking forward to another day of joy and thankfulness.”

Attendees for the May 3 event will receive a free meal and be able to participate in activities with their neighbors and friends. Reservations for the brunch, which were available for seniors who reside in Gordon Booth’s district, have been filled.
