BOLINGBROOK, Ill. — State Rep. Dagmara “Dee” Avelar, D-Bolingbrook, will host a series of ‘mobile office hours’ through the end of year at three locations around her community, kicking off at the Fountaindale Library in Bolingbrook this Thursday from Noon to 2 p.m.

Interested participants will have the opportunity to discuss important issues affecting Illinois families and hear updates about legislation moving forward in Springfield.

“This is a great opportunity for neighbors to connect and discuss concerns they may have locally or statewide, and how we can properly address them in our state government. As a member of leadership this year, I have a front-row seat in driving critical solutions through the finish line that tackles my community’s top needs and puts people first,” said Avelar. “I look forward to sharing what I’ve been up to and how I’m standing up for our people in the Southwest suburbs. I encourage my neighbors to join me at homebase as we dive through not only legislation, but state services and resources our office can provide to those who need it.”

Avelar will host mobile office hours on a monthly basis; in Bolingbrook’s Fountaindale Library the first Thursday of every month from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Romeoville’s White Oak Library the last Tuesday of every month from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Dellwood Park Community Center in Lockport every last Wednesday of the month from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. RSVP is not required. Mobile office hours are open to all community members. For more information, please contact info@repdagmara.org.
