PEORIA, Ill. – With seating limited, state Rep. Jehan Gordon-Booth, D-Peoria, is encouraging local seniors to RSVP for her free Senior Fall Luncheon scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Childers Banquet and Catering Center, located at 3113 N. Dries. Ln. in Peoria.
“This is one of my favorite events of the year, I love seeing our community come together to share a meal, participate in fun activities and celebrate the fall season,” Gordon-Booth said. “It’s also an opportunity for residents to connect with local community organizations and resources. Seats can fill up quickly, so we’re encouraging folks to call my office soon to RSVP.”

This year’s luncheon is supported by Advanced Medical Transport, HealthChoice Illinois, Meridian and Oak Street Health. Meals at the event will be provided by Childers Banquet and Catering Center.
