BATAVIA, Ill. – State Rep. Matt Hanson, D-Montgomery, is partnering with the Fox Valley United Way and local libraries for a diaper drive this month that will help stock local pantries and assist
families in need.

“This drive is an opportunity for residents to help make a difference by helping families take care of their youngest,” Hanson said. “No matter the size of your donation, every bit helps and I’m thankful for those who choose to join us in this effort.”

Residents can drop off diaper donations throughout October at a collection bin during normal business hours inside the following locations:

– Hanson’s District Office, 1605 W. Wilson, Suite 112 in Batavia;
– St. Charles Public Library, 1 South 6th Ave. in St. Charles;
– Geneva Public Library, 227 S. 7th St. in Geneva;
– Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave. in Batabia;
– Oswego Public Library Oswego Campus, 32 W. Jefferson St. in Oswego; and
– Oswego Public Library Montgomery Campus, 1111 Reading Dr. in Montgomery.

“I appreciate the support from the Fox Valley United Way and every local library that has chosen to participate,” Hanson said. “This is a generous community that knows how to come together to help others, and I’m grateful for every single donation we receive.”
