Yang Rohr Hosts Mobile Museum of Tolerance at 95th Street Naperville Library

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Janet Yang Rohr, D-Naperville, will welcome the Mobile Museum of Tolerance traveling education center to the 95th Street Library in Naperville this month. The educational experience will be open to residents at no cost for three days from noon to 6 p.m. on October 21, 22, and 23.

“As our nation continues to grapple with record rates of hate crimes, it’s the responsibility of each and every one of us to push back, and fight for a better, more inclusive, and compassionate future,” Yang Rohr said. “This three day visit will help visitors highlight the historic roots of antisemitism and social justice movements through interactive exhibits and more. The Mobile Museum of Tolerance and I know the future of our state is brighter when more of us feel welcomed and accepted, and I am excited to welcome them to Naperville.”

From Monday, October 21 through Wednesday, October 23 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Mobile Museum of Tolerance will be located at the 95th Street Library at 3015 Cedar Glade Drive in Naperville. The curriculum and contents meet educational standards established by the Illinois State Board of Education, and offer visitors multimedia, interactive programs to inspire social change.
