BOLINGBROOK, Ill. — State Rep. Dagmara “Dee” Avelar, D-Bolingbrook, will join state Sen. Meg Loughran Cappel, D-Shorewood, and state Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, for an event with DuPage Township Assessor Ken Harris and the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce to answer various questions about property assessments for local community members.
Those curious to learn more about property taxes and how their assessed value is determined are invited to the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce (201 Canterbury Lane, Suite B) on Friday, August 2, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
