AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, is joining with state Sen. Karina Villa, the Illinois Department of Commerce, the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Aurora Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to hold a workshop to connect Latina entrepreneurs with state services. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 27, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Belle Salle Banquet, at 1920 East New York St. in Aurora.

“Latina entreprenuers are emerging as an important part of the business community, and ensuring they have access to the resources and programs that are available to them is a big step in bolstering their growing role,” Hernandez said. “Any Latinas in business who want to learn about the assistance that Illinois can provide should come by to make new connections and take advantage of what’s available.”
