CHICAGO — State Rep. Mike Kelly, D-Chicago, is holding a blood drive March 29 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Irish American Heritage Center located at 4626 N. Knox Ave. in Chicago.
“Donating blood is a fantastic way to help the community in a meaningful way, possibly even saving lives,” Kelly said. “Please join us at this event and make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of others.”
The event is being held in conjunction with state Sen. Ram Villivalam, 39th Ward Alderman Samantha Nugent and Cook County District 12 Commissioner Bridget Degnen and in partnership with the American Red Cross. Each pint of blood donated can help save up to three lives.
