Rep. Buckner Responds to Budget Address, Prioritizes Affordable Healthcare,

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Kam Buckner, D-Chicago, issued the following statement yesterday in response to Gov. Pritzker’s annual budget address:

“The address today provided a framework for a budget that continues to prioritize the challenges faced by the most vulnerable Illinoisans. I am confident I can work with my colleagues to craft a budget that makes healthcare more affordable, puts extra funding towards education and continues to improve our vital public transit system. This coming year should see progress in all those areas, while continuing to put Illinois’ fiscal house in order.”
