Guerrero-Cuellar Responds to State of the State & Budget Address

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Angelica Guerrero-Cuellar, D-Chicago, will continue to prioritize safe communities and stronger local businesses in upcoming budget negotiations, following the Governor’s State of the State & Budget Address on Wednesday.

“Making our communities safer and more business friendly has been a priority for me since day one.We made great strides by funding local law enforcement agencies so they can best stop and solve crimes in recent balanced budgets. We’ve made similar progress by opening up Back to Business grants to more women and minority owned businesses. I want to continue to support these efforts and work with my colleagues as we create new ways to meet these goals.”
