Faver Dias Responds to Budget Address, Prioritizes Affordable Healthcare, Childcare Expansions, Jobs Programs

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Laura Faver Dias, D-Grayslake, issued the following response to Gov. Pritzker’s State of the State address on Wednesday:

“Forward-thinking, fiscally responsible budgets are vital to building a stronger future for Illinois, and it is encouraging to see a framework that is in line with my priorities-specifically a sizeable expansion of childcare, new jobs programs and initiatives to make healthcare more affordable. In the next few months, I will work with my colleagues to guarantee smart approaches in these-and other-areas. Taxpayers deserve to see their money spent on what matters, and that will be our focus with the coming budget.”
