AURORA, Ill. – In partnership with the Road Home Program, state Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, is holding a virtual social justice committee to discuss methods to help veterans returning to civilian life. The meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 5:30 p.m., and those who are interested should visit bit.ly/JanuarySJM to RSVP.

“Veterans face many challenges and they deserve a hand building new civilian lives once their tours of duty are over,” Hernandez said. “I am happy to join with Alejandra Hernandez and the Road Home Program to provide outreach for people going through difficult transitions as they leave military service.”
