AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, is continuing to combat the impacts of joblessness and homelessness by hosting a winter coat drive at her office on 1 E. Benton St., Suite 101 in Aurora.
“Winter is an especially challenging time for people who are struggling economically, especially the unhoused. By providing winter coats we can help keep people warm and ease the burdens that colder months bring,” Herandez said. “Any of my neighbors in the 50th district with extra coats that have maybe been sitting in their closets going unused for a while can make substantial contributions to another person’s life this holiday season by swinging by my office and dropping them off anytime.”
