ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Dagmara “Dee” Avelar, D-Bolingbrook, is inviting residents to the Valley View School District Back to School Fair on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon at Romeoville High School, 100 N. Independence Blvd.
“Getting ready for the school year can be stressful, but we’re aiming to make it easier, not to mention fun,” Avelar said. “So, bring your kids and their records and come on out to get vaccinations, physicals, information and resources, and some free school supplies!”
The event will feature school physicals, sport physicals and immunizations provided by VNA Health. These services are by appointment only and those interested will need to call VNA at 630-931-2075 to schedule them. Medicaid, Medicare and insurance are accepted. Uninsured individuals may also use the services. A parent or guardian must be present and copies of the child’s records will be needed.
Free school supplies will be provided while supplies last and on a first-come-first-served basis.
Avelar’s office can answer questions about the event. Residents may call 815-372-0085 or email info@repdagmara.org for more information.
