CHICAGO — State Rep. Lilian Jiménez, D-Chicago, will hear from local residents and discuss efforts to move Illinois forward at a Legislative Session Community Forum on Wednesday, July 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance, 3000 N. Elbridge Ave. in Chicago.
“My first legislative session was very productive, and I am proud of the work we’ve done for working families across the state, environmental justice and creating a more compassionate legal landscape for system-involved individuals,” Jiménez said. “I invite the community to register for this event and join me and other representatives to discuss how newly-passed legislation affects them.”
Jiménez will be joined by state Rep. Will Guzzardi and Eva-Dina Delgado and state Sen. Omar Aquino to discuss priorities and points of interest, answer questions, and hear about the priorities of residents. Registration is required.
