ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. — State Rep. Mary Beth Canty, D-Arlington Heights, is encouraging residents to share their thoughts on the issues that matter most to them while also supporting local businesses at her “Chat with Canty.”
“It’s always been my goal to make sure our state government is open and accessible to the people it represents, but many community members might not be able to visit our office during regular business hours. Chat with Canty provides the perfect opportunity for community members to voice their opinions and concerns in a low-stress environment,” Canty said. “I am so excited to meet more of our vibrant community, answer any questions people might have, and support local businesses by savoring some delicious ice cream. I encourage everyone to attend.”
The July event will take place on Wednesday, July 19 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Berry Yo located at 50 N. Vail Avenue in Arlington Heights. The August event will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at La Michoacana Premium located at 1645 N. Baldwin Road in Palatine.
Free ice cream will be available while supplies last. For more information, please contact Canty’s office at email@example.com or by calling 224-248-8187. For more information on Canty’s events, legislation, and more, follow her @RepMBC on Facebook and Twitter, and @rep.mbc on Instagram.
