DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. –State Rep. Anne Stava-Murray, D-Downers Grove, is seeking interns interested in a summer job working in her Naperville district office.
“This is an amazing opportunity to get your foot in the door for those interested in a future working in government and politics,” said Stava-Murray. “Through this paid internship, you’ll gain an understanding of public service and state government.”
Stava-Murray’s is offering a paid internship of $15 an hour to individuals located in District 81 or in the general Naperville area. The internship runs from June 1st through July 31st from 10 AM to 2 PM. The internship is open to high school students and requires applicants to have access to a vehicle.
“I sought to make this a paid position with the intention of providing this opportunity to everyone because not all young adults have the privilege of working without a wage,” said
Stava-Murray. “I encourage everyone interested to apply and be a part of my team.”
