Stava-Murray to Host Mobile DMV in Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. – State Rep. Anne Stava-Murray, D-Downers Grove, is offering convenient driver’s license renewal, vehicle sticker renewal and more at a mobile DMV event this Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Downers Grove Park District’s Lincoln Center, 917 Maple Avenue.

“I am excited to announce that we will be hosting a mobile DMV event in collaboration with the Secretary of State’s office,” Stava-Murray said. Together we are committing to making DMV services more accessible for our community to ensure everyone has access to these essential services.”

Stava-Murray’s mobile DMV event is an opportunity to apply for a license renewal or driver’s license, state ID card or to duplicate and correct licenses. Vision screening vehicle stickers will also be available. The event will also feature DMV staff, who can answer questions and offer helpful guidance. Please note that Real ID services will not be available at this event.

“I understand that oftentimes things can pile up, and going to the DMV can be a long and strenuous process,” Stava-Murray said. “That is why we are offering these services in a more accessible way right here in our community.”
