BERWYN, Ill. – State Rep. Abdelnasser Rashid (D-Bridgeview) has been appointed to the following House committees for the 103rd General Assembly
- Health and Human Services Appropriations
- Energy and Environment
- Transportation: Rail Systems, Roads and Bridges
- Housing
- Economic Opportunity and Equity
- Small Business, Tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship
- Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and IT
“I came to Springfield to give a voice to the hardworking taxpayers and families that make up our district. I am proud to sit on committees responsible for issues including economic relief for families and small businesses, affordable housing, digital privacy, environment protections, and transportation,” said Rashid.
Rashid will champion legislation that will provide economic relief, improve access to quality healthcare, enhance digital privacy protections and improve our state’s infrastructure. Additionally, he will advocate for policies that help meet the serious challenges posed by climate change.
