Rep. Barbara Hernandez to Hold Free Healthcare Enrollment and COVID Booster Event

AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, is holding an event for Aurorans to learn about recent expansions of Medicaid in Illinois, including immigrants ages 42 and up, regardless of their immigration status.

“Our community deserves full access to affordable doctors and prescriptions,” Hernandez said. “Medicaid provides significant benefits to many people who may have problems affording the doctors and medicines that are essential to their lives. This event will feature experts who are trained in helping people navigate the Medicaid system in both English and Spanish. I encourage anyone who is interested to attend.”
