AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, and the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) will help the Aurora community cut energy and telecom costs at a free utility bill clinic on Saturday, Jan. 21, from noon until 3 p.m. at the Aurora Public Library – Santori Branch.

“We have several months of cold Midwest weather still to face, and utility bills are going to be high. I’m holding a free event with the Citizens’ Utility Board to help connect Aurorans with expert counselors to manage and minimize these bills,” Hernandez said. “Utility bills can be complicated, and even erroneous. Finding those mistakes is invaluable. If you want to shave down your monthly utility costs, I encourage you to attend.”

Attendees should bring gas, electric, cable and phone bills they wish to go over with CUB counselors. No registration is required.
