PEORIA, Ill. – Area veterans are being invited by state Rep. Jehan Gordon-Booth, D-Peoria, for her annual James Little Veterans Appreciation Breakfast scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Laborers’ Local 165 Hall located at 4509 N. Catalina Dr. in Peoria.
“Our community owes a lot of gratitude toward our veterans, and every year this is a wonderful event where we can show our appreciation,” Gordon-Booth said. “We want participants to feel the holiday spirit, come together and perhaps reconnect and see some friendly faces.”
Free and open to veterans, the breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk and orange juice. Peoria firefighters, Local 165 and local celebrity guest servers will staff the event. For more information, please contact RepJGordon@gmail.com.
