ROMEOVILLE, Ill. — State Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, in partnership with state Sen. Meg Loughran Cappel, D-Shorewood, and Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, will host a Veterans Rights Seminar on Nov. 19 from 8-10 a.m. The event will take place at the Grand Haven Clubhouse, located at 1520 Grand Haven Road in Romeoville.
“Our community’s veterans put their lives on the line to protect our freedom and ensure the safety and security of this great nation. These selfless individuals not only deserve our respect and appreciation, but also the support they need to live full lives,” Manley said. “There are so many state resources created specifically to assist veterans, and this event will help connect them to these programs.”
A representative from the Military and Veterans Rights Bureau will be in attendance to answer questions and help attendees learn about their rights as veterans. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is required to attend the seminar. To register, veterans can visit https://bit.ly/3f5ikrA or call Manley’s office at 815-725-2741.
“Our Veterans Rights Seminar is the perfect opportunity for veterans to connect with others who have served and to learn about the rights and programs available to them,” said Manley. “I highly encourage all of our local veterans to attend this event, and I look forward to meeting and helping our local heroes.”
