CHICAGO – State Rep. Fran Hurley and state Sen. Bill Cunningham are encouraging residents to share their thoughts on state and local issues at an upcoming Coffee and Conversation, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 20 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Starbucks located at 9438 S. Ashland Ave. in Chicago.

“If you want an update on what’s happening in Springfield or have some thoughts on issues affecting you or your family, this is a great opportunity to share a cup of coffee with community members and offer feedback,” Hurley said. “I’ve been doing these kinds of gatherings at coffee shops throughout the area since I first took office, and I always appreciate meeting new residents and hearing what’s on their mind.”

This event is free and open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early. Participants will receive a complimentary cup of coffee. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Rep. Hurley’s constituent service office at 773-445-8128 or email RepFranHurley@gmail.com.
