Senate Bill 1040 will help provide some financial stability to newly reopened hospitals, like Westlake, during a time of transition while giving people in these underserved communities the health care they need and deserve. We will continue addressing the longstanding disparities in our healthcare system, but today is an important step forward in that fight.”
