Naperville, Ill. – As part of her ongoing efforts to remain open and accessible to her constituents, state Rep. Janet Yang Rohr, D-Naperville, is hosting her monthly Coffee and Conversation event on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. via Zoom.

“The General Assembly achieved many legislative accomplishments in our fall veto session last month and that is bound to lead to many questions from our community members,” said Yang Rohr. “I encourage everyone from the 41st District to join me for a cup of coffee, get their questions answered and learn more about what is happening in our state and community.”

Coffee and Conversation is one of the many free events Yang Rohr hosts to involve constituents in the democratic process. Upcoming events include multiple Citizens Advisory Committee meetings, where constituents can pick a subject matter important to them and discuss the needs of the community for upcoming legislation.

“The opinions and ideas of our community play an essential role in shaping my legislative agenda,” said Yang Rohr. “As I prepare for the upcoming spring session, these informal conversations with community members become even more important. I look forward to building on these relationships to make our community a better place.”

All of Yang Rohr’s events are free and open to the public. For more information on this event or any future events, or to RSVP, please contact Yang Rohr’s full-time constituent service office by calling 630-296-4157 or visiting www.repyangrohr.com.
