CHICAGO – As part of his efforts to ensure that all students are able to receive the education they deserve, state Rep. Cyril Nichols, D-Chicago, broke ground for the construction of the new facility for the A.E.R.O Therapeutic Center. Along with fellow legislators, Nichols worked to secure millions in funding for the construction of the new A.E.R.O facility in order to ensure that special needs students have the resources they need to get a quality education.

“As someone who has worked closely with students for years, I know how important the environment around them is for their learning experience,” said Nichols. “All students, and especially special needs students, deserve to have a system around them that is fully committed to providing them with the best education as possible. With this new facility, we have ensured that kids in our community with special needs are getting the resources and support they need to succeed.”
