WHO: The House Redistricting Committee
WHAT: The committee is holding a series of public hearings to gather input as the General Assembly begins the process of creating new congressional and judicial subcircuit boundaries. Members of the public may request to provide testimony, submit electronic testimony or submit electronic witness slips in advance of the hearings via the General Assembly website www.ilga.gov or through email at redistrictingcommittee@hds.ilga.gov.
Participants can attend virtually or in person. Those participating in person must abide by all public health guidelines, including social distancing and mask wearing requirements. The hearing will also be broadcast live on www.ilga.gov.
