AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Barbara Hernandez is helping connect residents with local resources and critical services by hosting a free community resource fair on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Prisco Community Center, located at 150 W. Illinois Ave. in Aurora.

“Speaking to residents in my district, I understand how valuable programs and services are to people’s quality of life and their ability to provide for their families, especially during these difficult times,” said Hernandez. “There will be over 15 organizations participating in this resource fair, with services ranging from utility bill relief, financial aid information, immigration services, flu shots, COVID-19 vaccines and much more. There is something for everyone at this fair, so I encourage residents of all ages to attend.”

Hernandez’s resource fair is free and open to the public. VNA Health Care will be providing free flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines at the fair. For a full list of participating organizations or to RSVP, visit https://www.facebook.com/RepHernandez83rd/
