NAPERVILLE, Ill. – As part of her ongoing efforts to remain accessible to her constituents, state Rep. Janet Yang Rohr, D-Naperville, is hosting her monthly ‘Coffee and Conversation’ event on Saturday, Sep. 25 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. via Zoom.

“I enjoy having my monthly coffee events for residents to meet with me in a more informal setting to talk about the issues that matter most to them,” said Yang Rohr. “It’s an opportunity for residents to guide discussion and learn more about what’s happening in the state and in our district. Coffees are also a great time to learn more about upcoming events my office hosts to keep residents informed and to take advantage of useful state services.”

In addition to Yang Rohr’s monthly “Coffee and Conversation” event, she will be hosting a variety of free events and meetings for constituents to get engaged, including an upcoming hike with the Sierra Club, a blood donation drive, a town hall meeting and advisory committees for constituents to share their thoughts and ideas on certain legislative topics.

“Being able to talk with constituents one-on-one about their concerns is the most helpful to me in informing the legislation I introduce and sponsor,” said Yang Rohr. “I highly encourage residents of the 41st District to join me for a cup of coffee and learn more about the big things happening in our state.”

All of Yang Rohr’s events are free and open to the public. For more information on this event or any future events, or to RSVP, please contact Yang Rohr’s full-time constituent service office by calling 630-296-4157 or visiting www.repyangrohr.com.
