ROCKFORD, Ill. – As part of his “Dave on Duty” tour in which he visits with small businesses across the district to better understand their needs and how he can best represent them in Springfield, state Rep. Dave Vella, D-Rockford, visited local small business Cucina Di Rosa. During the tour, Vella spoke with the owners of Cucina Di Rosa as well as the employees to hear their feedback on the challenges they are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“With the many difficulties that small businesses have had to face over the past year, it is more important than ever to connect with local business owners and hear their concerns and the issues they are facing,” said Vella. “As a small business owner, I know how important it is to secure resources for businesses to ensure they are able to recover from the hardship that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused. Cucina Di Rosa is a fantastic local restaurant that adds so much to our area, and it was my pleasure to meet with the owner and employees and learn what I can do to help them continue to serve our community.”
