Vella Meets with Constituents during “Donuts with Dave” Event

ROCKFORD, Ill. – As part of his efforts to meet with as many residents as possible throughout his district, state Rep. Dave Vella, D-Rockford, hosted a Donuts with Dave event and had a cup of coffee and donuts with constituents at a local small business. At the event, residents received an update on the legislation Vella worked on since taking office earlier this year and spoke with Vella about the issues that matter most to them and what they would like to see him focus on moving forward.

“The best way for me to represent my constituents is to hear directly from them on what they would like to see me fight for in Springfield,” said Vella. “With the many issues that residents are facing, especially with the hardships that have arisen due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic burden it has caused, it is vital that everyone makes this voice heard on what they need from their state government. Thank you to those who took time out of their Saturday to come speak to me, and I look forward to meeting with more constituents throughout the upcoming months.”
