NAPERVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Janet Yang Rohr, D-Naperville, recently announced the dates of her newly formed citizen advisory panels to discuss major issues facing the state, including education, economic development, veteran’s wellness and more.
“I’m excited to work with devoted volunteers to tackle the issues in our community,” said Yang Rohr. “My advisory panels will serve as a way for residents to have a seat at the table, help form my legislative agenda, brainstorm ways to improve our community, and work with other community partners to discuss key issues facing residents of the 41st district. I encourage those interested in being a part of this dialogue to join me at any of my upcoming panel meetings.”
Yang Rohr will meet with her advisory panels, around eight issue areas: healthcare, environment, education, economic development, diversity and inclusion, women’s issues, seniors, and veterans. Constituents will be able to work with Yang Rohr to address these topics and concentrate on what she can do in Springfield to better the community. All advisory panels are open to any member of the public. The dates for her June and July meetings are:
