Yang Rohr Backs Funding for Small Businesses and Healthcare Access in First Legislative Session

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Janet Yang Rohr, D-Naperville, issued the following statement after the end of the 2021 Legislative Session:

“This legislative session, I have worked hard to create a balanced budget that provides critical relief funding while standing firm on not increasing taxes on working families. My top priority this session was to help our local businesses and families get back on their feet after the pandemic.

“The pandemic showed how important it is to fortify our healthcare system and ensure that residents have access to comprehensive healthcare services. Implementing these important and innovative practices is essential in moving forward together as a state.

“I worked with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to ensure that the needs of the people of Illinois were put first, and I look forward to continuing the work to lift up Illinois.”
