COLLINSVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Katie Stuart, D-Edwardsville, will be hosting a virtual “Coffee with Katie” on Friday, Feb. 19 from 10 to 11 a.m. to discuss her legislative priorities and answer questions from community members about state issues and services. To register for the Zoom event, email repkatiestuart@gmail.com.
“As I work on new legislation, it’s helpful to hear feedback from residents about the state and local issues that are affecting their day-to-day lives,” said Stuart. “This event allows for residents to talk with me about anything on their mind, and to share their views on bills that will impact our community.”
Stuart regularly hosts “Coffee with Katie” as an opportunity for residents to talk with her about the issues that matter most to them. During the event, Stuart will give an update about legislation she’s introduced in Springfield and then open the conversation for attendees to share their thoughts. Those who wish to submit questions in advance can do so when they RSVP to repkatiestuart@gmail.com.
“Hearing from you directly helps me focus my efforts and better represent our community in Springfield,” continued Stuart. “If you’re not able to join us this time, I will be hosting additional coffee hours throughout the year and hope to see you soon.”
